RAYMOND S. EWER is an experienced trial attorney, as well as an established business and real estate lawyer. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University and received his Juris Doctorate degree Cum Laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1977. Attorney Ewer concentrates in civil litigation, personal injury law, business/corporate/commercial law and real estate. He is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator and maintains a private dispute resolution practice.

Attorney Ewer is licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, and all state courts in Massachusetts. He has argued cases before the First Circuit Court of Appeals and Massachusetts Court of Appeals, and has handled and tried cases in the superior, land, and district courts of Massachusetts and in the courts of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

Professionally, Attorney Ewer is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association. He is a Land Court partition commissioner, an arbitrator for the Massachusetts Bar Association Fee Arbitration Board, and a former Hearing Committee Member for the Board of Bar Overseers. He also served on the Bench-Bar, Court Technology, and Judicial Administration committees of the Massachusetts Bar Association and has been a member of the Middlesex Multi-Door Courthouse Mediator/Arbitrator/Case Evaluator panels, a mediator for the Middlesex Superior Court Auto Tort mediation Program, and a conciliator for the Wrentham District Court Conciliation Program.

His community and civic involvement is extensive. Attorney Ewer is past president of the Norumbega Council, Boy Scouts of America, current Vice-President Legal and Executive Board member of the Mayflower Council, Boy Scouts of America, past president and director of the Newton Jaycees, former vice president and Credit Committee Chair of JayPlu$ Federal Credit Union, and former instructor of paralegal studies at Newbury College. He is also a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association, a life member of the Jaycees International Senate, a member of the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce, and former Assistant Scoutmaster and treasurer of his local Boy Scout troop.
